Work as a wandering storyteller at Silver Dollar City (a Branson, MO, theme park)

Through a friend of mine who know the owners of SDC, I’ve recently spoken to the woman in charge of entertainment and bookings and such. There is an audition weekend that happens in December during which I would have two minutes to show them what I’ve got to offer. Two minutes. Phew. What can I do within that span that showcases my skill? Gonna have to work on that, for sure, to complete this goal like I really want to. Stay tuned.

Silver Dollar City carries the theme that it’s an old 1860’s mining town in southwest Missouri. They’ve carved this theme park out of the hills and trees and it’s done beautifully, not all hot pavement and sun.

I really want to go and be a wandering storyteller all up in costume of a snake-oil salesman and lie to the good visitors with tales and songs and jokes and such and then take off on my unicycle to the next spot of entertainment. sigh. One day.
