organize my photos

Little by little….Just got to get through all the photos I have.

I have taken most of my pics off the computer and need to organize them. But I keep taking more and more photos. So I guess I should break it down into smaller bits to work on.

I’m using Adobe Photoshop Elements to do this goal. In the windows version it has a photo organizer and it is exactly what I needed. So first I put all the photos that were on my laptop onto CDs so it frees up room to work better. And now I will go through all these CDs, keeping only the photos I really want to keep on a new CD and labeling them in my CD case.

It all sounds like it will work….let’s see how difficult it will be.

I found that I already have a program that I can use to organize all my photos. I need to figure out how it works and all the stuff I can do with it. I also bought a CD case that I am going to use to keep all my discs in one place. So now the hard part…sitting down and actually doing it :)

Seems like when I’m making some headway on one batch I just add another one to it. I take my camera everywhere :) But at least I am getting better at deleting duplicates and photos that are not able to be edited. I am working on this.

I have so many photos…in boxes, online, on my computer…just everywhere. I hate that I don’t get photos to my friends and family until months (or sadly, years) after an event. I need to get to work on this.
