It’s getting tougher and tougher now that it’s colder. It’s just so hard to get out of a nice toasty warm bed in the morning.

I have been getting up before noon consistently but still not up as early as I would like. I found a few articles online that I’m trying to work with. This one http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2005/05/how-to-become-an-early-riser/ might work well for me because it says to not try to force yourself to sleep. But I do need to get up at a set time.
And this article http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2006/04/how-to-get-up-right-away-when-your-alarm-goes-off/ sounds a little silly to practice getting up maybe that’s the training I need. So I’ll give it a try…couldn’t hurt right.

Hanging out with friends until the wee hours of the morning is not helping with this goal. No more hanging out after work….well maybe once in a while :)
Ended up dropping the class that was getting me up early. Working long shifts that end around 3AM made it very hard for this night owl to get up on time. But I would still like to work on this goal. Not a good start to this week seeing as it’s 1:30 in the morning and I am still online :)
Currently I am a bartender which is great because I am such a night person. So for the longest time now the earliest I have gotten up is about 10. But the one last class I need for my degree starts at 9:30 which means I have to get up at least by 8AM. Today was the first class and I actually got up on time. The class is only 2 days a week so I’m hoping the the other days I still get up by 9:30. We’ll see how that works out.
