What happens in terms of creating wars is a mind-manipulation technique called “Problem-Reaction-Solution”. And it works like this: Let’s say you want to centralize power into fewer and fewer hands through the UN or NATO. If you did that openly and said, “This is what we want to do”, there’d be a reaction against that. People would say, “Hey, this is a fascist state you want to create. We’re not having this”. But through this technique of Problem-Reaction-Solution, you can actually manipulate people to demand you do what you want to do anyway.

So it works like this: First of all, you create the problem, but you get someone else to be blamed for it. You then report that problem through the media in the way you want it reported – because the media is owned by the same people who own the banks, etc. You get the public to react to your problem by saying, “Something must be done; this can’t go on; what are THEY going to do about it?” And at that point, THEY, who have covertly created the problem, and blamed someone else, who gleaned that reaction of “Do Something”, then offer the solution to the problems they have created…

Phantom Shifts 14 months ago

Is body structure an important factor to consider? Do you use phantom shifts to help determine this? And if one does not have natural phantom shifts/ limbs would you think considering poster is appropriate, especially since it might be less conditioned?

What if the person has been taught rigorously to stand up straight and walk properly? Perhaps that suggests therianthropy in a psychological/ identity case can in fact be contradicted? What if the species cannot walk/ or has no legs?

Question 15 months ago

As humans today do not really hunt, or feel the need to, how does one decide if they are a forager/ herbivore or a hunter? Impulse, shifts? If there are no shifts, how can one tell when they have security and they know that ‘cupboard’ or ‘fridge’ equals instant food? Would it translate to other things, or be metaphoric? Is it incredibly clear for actual therians?

Humanity 15 months ago

Do you factor in proximity to humans? Considering that we also are human and the likelihood is that from our rearing/ human nature should not avoid our own species, should one factor out species that do avoid humanity if they don’t happen to themselves?

How do you explain your therianthropy? What is the cause, the root? The reason. Ie, reincarnation seems a popular explanation, as does sharing a body. But you don’t really get to hear too many non-spiritual reasons browsing the net. And there are others than these two of course, much more..

I was thinking to open this to all otherkindred but wanted to focus more on therians right now. Course, if you aren’t strictly a therian and feel like contributing, nothing says you can’t! Or if you just have general theories, that is awesome too.

Extinct-Therians 16 months ago

I notice that we see therians of species that are endangered and such. But why is it that (well to my personal experience anyway) that I’ve not come in contact with therians of extinct species more often. To me anyways it seems like there should be more than I’ve noticed.

Maybe I’m not seeing the whole picture but it just seems like if there are souls that prefer a species that no longer has bodies to inhabit that there would be more humans being born with such souls. But that entire theory is influenced by my personal beliefs. Unless of course these souls are being born to bodies similar to their preferred species.

I just wanted to know what you all thought about this. Maybe you could help me understand this more if there is an answer out there. Either way I bet this will be a thought provoking discussion….

"Therians Are Born.. Not Made" 16 months ago

This is the kind of thing you’ll hear a lot, and it makes sense. If you look at most definitions, a therian is born the way they are, or perhaps it develops, but they cannot be made into a therianthrope.

But I’ve been fiddling with this idea, since therianthropy is a personal thing, is it not necessarily possible that it is more of a ‘choice’ then we give credit for, that therians are on some level ‘made’? Personal spiritually always grows from a skeleton, which is why I’m thinking this.

Looking at therianthropy, in my opinion there are probably different forms. If I am a therianthrope it would be my belief that it was me who had been that animal in a past life, and that a memory had been left from it onto this life so I still feel a draw and connection, while other people believe that an animal may be residing within them. These are two different ideas, when I talk, I am using the first.

If reincarnation, or a sort, is perhaps partly to blame for things like therianthropy, would not every human being have the potential to be a therian? Humans did not always exist, depending on one’s belief of the soul/ spirit/ whatever you’d prefer to call it, then it is therefore possible everyone had to have been an animal at one point. Those who consider themselves therianthropes, would therefore have retained the memory or imprint of a past life for some particular reason, maybe it had a great effect, maybe they just prefered that to humanity.Does this make sense? A little sketchy it is maybe…

Opinions, ideas?

Human-Animal Equality 17 months ago

I see less of a difference between myself/humans and animals than most people. To clarify, many people see the world as humans and animals, us being entirely seperate, smarter-than-thou approach. Like with animal testing, when they think it’s okay to do unspeakable things to animals because they’re just animals, not humans. Like we’re so apart from them. Despite the fact that yes, we are more advanced in some areas than other animals, we’re still related. We still feel basically the same emotions, especially with the higher mammals. I don’t value human life over those of many animals… I’m a minority in the world.

I attribute my views to my education, love of animals, and animal identity. I would imagine that those who feel animal inside would see fewer, if any, differences between themselves and animals, less human-centric loyalty.

So I pose this question to you: do you think you feel a closer connection to animals than non-otherkin/therians? —that you’re more on the same plane, not some totally separate one? If so, to what degree would you attribute this viewpoint to your animals identity? If not, why?

On the same note, have you seen a higher rate of veganism in otherkin/therians than in those who are not? Or is it basically the same ratio…
