Adopt a dog, or maybe two.

We adopted Dannie, a German Shorthaired Pointer, about 10 days ago. She’s a little needy – still follows me around and hates it when we leave her alone. But she’s very sweet and is learning a lot.

Visited the Humane Society today. So many dogs to choose from. Some sweet cats too. But the little three-legged dog was adopted – I felt glad for him, and sad for us.
We tried out a few others – including one named Hope who’s still a big puppy and sat for a few minutes on my lap, snuggling and kissing me. Also tried to chew on my scarf.
Afterward, we bought a dog crate, food and supplies. Now we have to decide which one is OUR DOG. Big decision.
