. . . I was shopping after rehearsals, and I ran into an old friend I had not seen for some time—it was so good to see him! Anyway, we talked, and there are some issues going down in his life, and I did something I haven’t done in awhile, I took off my hat, took his hand in mine, and together we approached Our Father and asked for His help and His guidance.
I want to do that every time the opportunity presents itself, we are so quick to say to someone when we hear about their troubles “I’ll pray for you . . . blah, blah, blah. . .” when what we need to do is pray with them, right then, no matter where—God is always there, we are the ones who have to be willing to take another by the hand and approach the Throne.
Keep Smiling—and definitely, Keep Praying
