Ok, well I haven’t had much time lately to try out anything new, but I had a sfriend come over for dinner on Monday night, and I decided to unleash the master within…

He loves Pumpkin Soup, so that one was easy, we had Beef Stroganoff for main course (haven’t made this in years, but it turned out surprisingly well) and finished with Cookies and Cream Ice-cream made from scratch – so very, very naughty… but ooooh soooo good. Totally impressed with myself!

Just what I needed to motivate me back into this goal.



Honey Mustard Chicken 2 years ago

This was soooo easy to make and so good!

Just honey, seeded mustard, curry powder and chicken pieces, mix in a bowl and bake in the oven. Yum!

Only problem is I have plenty of leftovers – must be the italian in me… used to cooking for hoards of people. Looks like I’ll be freezing the rest for nights I come home late and couldn’t be bothered cooking.

the problem is I just don’t seem to find the time anymore. I used to bake quite alot, and have alot of dinner parties, bring morning tea into work every few weeks, and give alot of it to family. Now it’s just me, and things have been busier than usual lately, I’ve been missing trying something new or going to that extra little bit of trouble – it was relaxing, a way to kick back and do something different. And considering I have been collecting cookbooks and recipes since as far back as I can remember, with nearly half a whole bookshelf in my library full of recipe books, it’ll be good motivation to try something new again every week.
