finish nursing school

Got my grades today… I only actually ended up getting 2 grades this session because nursing is a 16 week course instead of 8 weeks. I’m kinda torn…. on one hand I got an A in developemental psych. I actually ended up with a 79 out of 75 points for the final which means I only missed one question out of 75 and got all the extra credit right. That’s probably the best I’ve ever done on a final and I was super excited about it…. Then on the other hand I did way worse than I wanted in Microbiology. I got a “C” on the “open book and open note” final… how the hell does that happen??? Brought my whole grade down and I ended up with a “B” in the class over all. I’m so mad… I feel like I should be doing awesome in that class but I’m not. Ughhh…. just frustrated. I want straight As!!!!... I think I might be getting a bit neurotic about this….

Straight As this session! I got an A in anatomy, an A in Speech, and an A in Sociology! :) I’m so exited! And now in 2 weeks I finally get to start my first actual nursing class!

Just got my grades for last session. I got a “B” in Anatomy and an “A’ in advanced composition :) I’m pretty happy :) I think my goal this session is gonna be to get an “A” in anatomy just cuz I’ve only gotten B’s in it so far… it’s a hard class!

...and when I saw it all I could think was “oh my god, how much more money do I owe now? How much has the tuition increased?” So I hesitated for a minute to open it. Finally I decided I was going to have to deal with it one way or another so I just opened it and it turns out it was a letter letting me know I made the deans list last semester!!! That means I have a GPA higher than 3.5! I was so exitied! I haven’t made dean’s list or honor roll since I was in 8th grade… That definately made my day :)

I have one more tomorrow and then I’m done! :) I got my anatomy grade today and I got a B. Not bad… I have a feeling I’m going to end up with straight B’s this session…. That’s good and all but I would have liked to get some A’s too… well I’ll still have to wait a bit and see what my other final grades are… At least I learned a lession… Never take 20 credit hours at one time again! It’s nice to get classes out of the way but it’s not worth the struggle and the lower grades.

I finally got my grades today! I got 2 A’s and a B! Not too bad :) I would have liked straight A’s but that anatomy class was soooo hard. I’m happy with a B :) :) :) :) :) :)

I have one more final and then I’m officially done with the first session! :) I’m nervous to see my grades but I should know by the end of the weekend. I can’t beleive how fast that went by! 1 session down, 17 more to go! Haha

I just finished my first day of class. Now only 3 more years! haha

I sat down yesterday with my financial aid advosior and it went much better then I thought! I was suprised to find out that I was available for a pell grant meaning their going to pay about $2000 per semester towards my tuition and then rest is covered under student loans. I have an orientation in two weeks and then I start class on the 27th! I’m getting nervous but so excited!
