311 and the Wailers yesterday… Oh my god… AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait for No Doubt now :)

Oh my gosh…. The line up was just announced 2day and now I have 2 figure out a way 2 get tickets 4 this too! So many of my favorites!!!

Headliners: Depeche Mode, Tool, the Killers, Jane’s Addiction, Beastie Boys and Kings of Leon.

I just tickets for Q101’s blockparty with 311 and the Wailers! They both played here a couple years ago and I went and it was seriously one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to…. It’s at the lakefront pavillion, or charterone pavillion as it’s called now… but yeah…. the sun setting behind the chicago skyline with Lake Michigan behind you as the wailers do all the classic Bob Marley…. Heaven :)

I just bought No Doubt tickets!!! Oh my god… I am SO exitied! I knew they were going on tour this summer but I never bothered to look at tickets cuz I figured they’d be ridiculously expensive and sell out in seconds…. so last night I went online to buy those Bayside tickets I talked about before and as it turns out… Bayside is’t even the headlining band, NewFound Glory is, and I don’t particularly like that all that much, I saw them when I was 14 when they opened for Blink182, haha, anyway… By the time the ticket master charges and shipping charges were applied the cost of 2 tickets was $60! I was so upset :( That’s way too much for 2 tickets to go see an opening band… so I was just looking through the other concerts coming up and I looked at the NoDoubt tickets and as it turned out they’re selling their tickets directly through Live Nation as opposed to ticket master… The lawn seats were only $10 a piece! (lawn seats are always way more fun anyway) and Live Nation only charges a $5 service fee for the whole thing so I get to go see No Doubt this summer for less than half the price of a bayside ticket! I think I bought my first No Doubt cd when I was 10 and I never got to see them live and I never thought I would…. I can’t wait! July 11th!!!! :) :) :)

Bayside is coming to Chicago in April!!! They have been one of my favorite bands for years and I’ve missed the last like 3 times they were here and I am so excited to go!!! I just need to scrounge up some cash and a friend who’ll go with me :) :) :)

I’m thinking about buying tickets to the Eagles of Death Metal concert. They don’t come to Chicago too often so I think I should probably go see them when I have the chance.

This was something I would do every year… if not every month. Music was what kept me going. Live music was what I looked forward to. I haven’t been to a concert in about a year and the last one I went to wasn’t even a band I wanted to particilarly see. Before the year is up I want to go to a concert. Some one I want to see.
