Visited Hilo last summer, and absolutely loved it there. Not sure if I will move there right after my daughter graduates in 2012, because I’m not sure if I could stand to be so far away from her yet. It’s not like you can just hop in your car and get to her in a moments notice.
My dream is to live in Hilo. I originally planned to move there with my youngest daughter Lydia, after my oldest daughter graduates(she doesn’t want to change schools anymore)I have a bit of wanderlust and never stay anywhere too long. Even though my Lydie passed away in 2007, I still dream of living there. Summer 2012 is the plan.
I will be visiting Hilo for a week next month.
