It’s been harder than I thought. I want to wake up earlier so I can get part of my exercise and most of my daily chores done before I go to work or start my day off.
The key is going to bed earlier, since I need at least 6 hours sleep, 7 is better.
The other problem is that the time it takes me to wake up is longer when I get up earlier, so I end up accomplishing less. I need to work on this part, too.

I thought this would be easier after the time change, but it’s not. I would really like to get up just 30 minutes earlier every day. Which means I need to go to bed early enough to get at least 7 hours of sleep. I am a night person. It is turning into a bigger challenge than I thought. I was expecting it to be fairly easy, but no, I just can’t quite bring myself to make that leap of commitment by changing my alarm. This week I have been setting it for later. I am blaming the time change. It’s not a good excuse, really.

My schedule varies, so this could be as early as (gulp) 5:15 am on my early days when I leave at 7:30 am for work, and as late as 7:30 on my late days. If I manage to do it, I would have time to work out every morning, take the dog out to practice our obedience stuff and walk. To get ready for work, and leave the house with a little make-up, and dry hair. I could kiss my husband before he left the house on my late days.
