get over my fear of driving

I drove home after my husband unhooked the Jeep from our motorhome after a trip. It wasn’t far, but it was pouring rain and dark. I hate driving in both of them, but I did it. Yay me.
My next goal is to drive twice in February this year.

I am going to start driving. Maybe just a little bit at first. I am so irritated with myself for letting this skill go.

Now, I start freaking out when I even think about driving. The few times I’ve had to drive somewhere in the last year or so have been terrible. The strange thing is, once I get behind the wheel and start going, I’m fine. It’s the pre-driving anxiety that makes me sweat.

I hate to drive, and it’s making my life more difficult all the time. I’m lucky that the love of my life doesn’t mind I don’t like to drive, but I’m tired of it.
