Doing better 2 months ago

Iceland helped. Having regular meals of healthy fish – didn’t feel such an urge to snack – perhaps because I was happy and not bored. Those habits carried over to my life here. Clothes fitting better. Particularly cutting back on sugary junk. Also really succeeded in cutting back on that bacon. Also like the efficiency of not having to cook it.

My motivation is high. Want to sleep better, move better, feel better.
Want to dance again. Perhaps I should start now. Now is always a good time.

...mmm good – need to cook creatures w/ more meat on them tho – wondering if I’m losing my taste for meat, or if I just need to do something more interesting w/ it. Meanwhile, staying away from the oven because of the heat – stick with stir fry for the present. Still eating too many eggs fried-in-butter and too much bacon. Perhaps if I just used bacon for occasional flavoring (like in a sandwich), I’d consume less fat. I know when I’m tired or short on time, I do skimp on vegetables.

..in Door County – need to cut back, now. Most memorable meal – prawns – met in an arch over the vegetables. One was wrapped aound a nasturtium for the tip of the archway. The prawns were heavenly, dipped in drawn butter – tasted like lobster.

Now back to my own cooking….



Don't know so much about mass, 2 years ago

but I have lost weight – never go above the “60” anymore. Feel lighter, stronger, and love my BMT shoes – I’m even balancing well. Need to set a deadline to being dancing….

...just care about fitting into smaller spaces better, smaller clothes, feeling better – want to get stronger as well. I understand that one gains weight w/ muscle – more muscle – less flab – that’s for me. Easing into an excercise regimen involving stair climbing. Cutting down on empty calorie kinds of foods and eating smaller portions…
