Let Go of the Fear to Live

For as long as I can remember, I have always over-analyzed every decision I have made in my life. I was raised by a very loving(but extremely fearful) Parent and inherited a lot of the fears I grew up seeing. You know, when a parent asks you to go to the ATM machine for her because she is afraid to use it, there is something wrong, lol. I do this a lot too, with crazy little things that shouldn’t scare me so much, like driving on the Express way. Things that I see people doing on a regular basis. I can’t seem to shake the mentality that everything in the world that has an uncertain outcome is bad.I am the kind of person that NEEDS TO KNOW. I need to know that if i love someone, they won’t hurt me.I have to attend class every day so that I can get that A… (I am afraid of B’s, lol), and I am very hard on myself if I gain a few pounds. Everything in life has a risk, but I realize that I can’t spend the rest of my life focusing on that possible negative or beating myself up over imperfections. I want to learn to let go, to have faith in God for where I need to be—- and to just LIVE for God sake!!!!!
