Hee hee... 2 years ago

I totally ate a bunch of chocolate and potato chips today. It was scrumptious, and I am NOT going to feel guilty about it. I just have to make myself want to move/workout. I think after the art show, it will be easier. Also, if we move, well, that would be motivation in itself. I HAVE to be able to fit comfortably in my clothes again, after the holidays, they are feeling a little tight. and that’s no fun. So, the not-so-secret formula is to eat healthy food and regular portions as well as moderate exercise. I need to quit being lazy, bt I love food so much! So looks like I will have to start moving around more. At least srping is around the corner, but my goal is to lose 7 pounds before then. C’mon motivation!!! I know you’re there somewhere! :)

lost 2 pounds.... 3 years ago

So I have 5 more to go… It helps when you have a schedule!!

So, I'm just 2 lbs above 3 years ago

my high school weight of 118… I was slightly pudgy then, but I had the diet of a 15 year old boy and would spend all my free time skating with the boys, so my legs were a little muscle-y. That was about 5-6 years ago. (Wow how time flies, eh?)

I have been as high as 132 (When I lived with my boyfriend and his parents for a short time – his mom makes good food, but this had to stop!) As soon as we saved enough to get our own place, I dropped down to 122 within a week and a half. That was 5 years ago.

Last spring I was still in college and I wasn’t even trying to lose weight. Somehow, walking around campus and a healthier diet (Chicken, veggies, fruit, yogurt, sushi and occasional ramen..lol I did consume a lot) made my weight drop to a healthy 115 – I was also going occasionally to the yoga classes at the campus workout facility. I miss yoga. I also was scuba diving a lot that year. I felt sooooooo good. My clothes fit like they never had before and I was becoming very confident about wearing nice tanks and everything. In fact, I was planning to throw out a couple of items, because they were getting really big on me and I also shopped a little for better fitting clothes. After a weeklong scuba trip, I went to Japan for 2 weeks for a school scholarship to study businsss and culture. I ate TONS and TONS of fish, rice, eggs and crackers and came home weighing 113 – I walked MILES there, too. I felt strong, healthy and I was busting with energy. I was so happy, because I felt REALLY confident in doting a bikini. (My trouble areas are the regular gut, hips and thighs.)

Anyways, last semester of college was particularly stressful with my job, school and family. I started gaining weight and did not even notice it until I weighed 124… (I am 5’2”) I only noticed this when I could no longer fit into an awesome pair of pants that I bought as a treat for myself at the end of last summer… (they fit really well and I love the embroidery on them!!) I actually paid full price and the tag is still on them. No, I am not returning them because they are too awesome. I WILL fit in to them, as I have been working out and I lost 5 punds and I am 120ish…. only 7 more to go!
