Ok So my best friend and I took French lessons when we were in school. She fell in love with it…I didn’t. Over the years though she has become all but fluent in French while the extent of my French has consisted of Chiffon dresses and mimicking Miss Piggy saying “For Moi?”
Somehow I think my vast French lineage and royal ancestors would be horrified. SOoooooooooooo….my goal has been to become conversational by the end of 2008. I don’t have to become fluent (not right away anyway) and I don’t have to speak it well…but I should be able to at least be conversational in the language of my bloodline.
So I found a wonderful course on cd that I have been working with and so far, so good. I’ll let you know in December how it successful it was.
