I totally forgot to mention Ted Nugent!
I went to this concert on August 23rd.
I think I know why I forgot to mention it… He spent a great deal of time preaching to the crowd, instead of playing to us.
The last half-hour, when he just shut up and started jamming, it was increadible! He jammed to Stranglehold for at least 20 minutes. It was unbelievable! The whole crowd was hypnotized.
Anyway….
Chock one more against my 43!

Okay, so it wasn’t a paid concert – it was included in the ticket price to the fair, but it STILL rocked, so I’m counting it!
This 8-piece, all girl, world-beat band rocked Alaska last night. I could hardly stop dancing!
It was held in the Sluicebox, and that place was packed! It was cool to run into so many people we knew (just reminding us of how small a place, Alaska really is). In all, we just had a really great time!

April 27, 2006 – Godsmack “IV”
I went with a few friends from work – and it was amazing! The concert just ROCKED – the crowd was into it – but I was disapointed that we only gave them one encore.
I loved it when Sully came out and did dualing drums with his drummer – giant drum sets, and just rocked the stands with their beats.
I’m aching to go to another concert….

I love rock concerts. I mean LOVE. My first concert was Aerosmith, when I was 18. My most recent concert was Godsmack, this past May (unbelievable concert btw).
Avenged Sevenfold will be coming to Anchorage on September 7th. It’s a general admission concert only – no assigned seats…Problem? That’s the go-live date for our new hospital charting system… I have a feeling that I have to be an adult, and skip this concert.
