I’ve decided that every day that I don’t work, I’ll hit the Y and run on the treadmill for an hour or so. It’s especially convenient since Carianne is at the Y after school for swim practice anyway and I have to wait around – I can just do my homework and hit the gym.
I’m pretty determined to do my best with this – and my mom and I are working out a really good-for-me diet, because I really want to succeed. I want to feel better about myself.
It’s such a cliched goal, isn’t it? I spend so much time around these people with perfect bodies – it gets old to not have one of them. Besides, obesity runs in my family – I don’t want to end up like that. I want to be fit and healthy and beautiful.
