Bought myself a Garmin 305 forerunner.
I love it.
I wear it every where.
Sure it is big, but it keeps track of
how many miles walked.
I used the extra money I saved from
quitting smoking 14 days ago.
Feel like a new person.
Keep Walking..
Enjoy Life.

Common Sense..the more you do the more you can do.
I recently became more health awareness.First step was quitting smoking.8 days so far and the walking is improving.I figured might as well eat right too.
I remember marching in cadence while at Navy Boot camp.I still to do this day while walking say to myself,Stepping out on that left foot..your right or left foot…left…left…right….left…
Or this is going to sound stupid but when one of us in Boot Camp got in trouble with CC’s(company commander’s usually E-5 or E-6)...We had to drop on ground and do push ups…But here is the catch…One push up was down like this…..We had to say…..(This is no joke)
We said…..My mother gave me fifty cents
to see the elephant jump the fence
he jumped so high
He didn’t come down to the 4th of July
One Sir..
so we did about 8 push ups for every one.
Keep walking
I try to walk every day.Since it is hot now,I try to get it done in mournings.
Walking burns just as many calories as running but it takes you longer.
It is great to be back as a non smoker.
I have been walking along the river for the past 4 days.It feels so great.
My time and distance are improving as well.
I plan to keep on walking.
Enjoy the day..
