start wearing nice clothes

I got a nice outfit today, and a nice watch. A real watch. The band was too loose, but I visited a jeweler, and she took a few links out for me. I’m currently trying to decide whether or not I should buy a suit for interviews. Probably, but it’s a third of my clothes budget. Oh well… it’ll get me the job, and the job will get me money to have more every-day attire.

Well, I asked for kitchen supplies for graduation. Instead, my parents are giving me money for clothes. They’re right, of course. The clothes will help me out more right now, with job interviews.

I’ll feel better if I quit dressing like a bum. Time to stop being a lazy college student and start being a respectable employee! Besides, I want some nice clothes for going dancing and going on dates. This goal won’t get any real progress until my financial situation is more comfortable, however.

Besides, I also want to do some international travel (speaking of “things that cost money”) and I know that Americans are out of favor these days. Respectful behavior can go a long way, and one part of that is self-presentation.
