People have been cheering this, so I’ll add an entry.
It won’t be long before I have a B.A. with a major in Psychology. I love my major so much, I don’t know exactly how to narrow it down for grad school. I was going to go into Clinical, but I decided a few months ago that I’d rather go into a Counseling program if I’m going to aim for having a private practice. Of course, I don’t know if having a private practice is what I want, or if I’d rather enter a more research-oriented program. I have a neuroscience concentration and I could continue in that direction.
For now, I’m taking some time “off” from academia to get hands-on experience. I also am taking this time to prioritize health and save some money. I’d like to spend some time in Europe before I’m 26 (so I can count as a student). Once I’ve been out of the ivory tower for a little while, I’ll decide how to proceed.
