Made a payment this week of $2,250 on a debt. Feels great to have something else paid off!!
I’m over half way done with paying off my debt from when I initially started in July 2009!
If you’re struggling with debt pay off, don’t give up! Your freedom from debt restraints is worth the effort now!

i called my debtors to see if i could get any interest rates reduced, and i was able to reduce some of them!
also, the other day i got a little down because i didn’t feel like i was making as fast as an impact on my debt as i thought i would… then i stopped and realized what i’m doing is still really cool- i haven’t increase debt at all for myself for over ten months now AND i’ve been decreasing it steadily each month, even a little more each month.
also, if i bike to work, i’ll save a lot in gas a month and that could help me pay something off much quicker.

My January goal is to pay $1000 toward debt. So far (and today is the 5th) I’m at $461.99. I’m pretty sure I will definitely be able to make this goal! :) Yay!
Update on 01/26/2010
I’m at $ 894.45 for the month, and have a few anticipated payments totalling over the goal of $1000k.

i made a list of the food i had at home, planned meals to last me the next pay period, bought only the groceries i would need to fix said planned meals.
i spent $48 and i’m happy, normally i would spend almost twice that.
i’m also making it a point to not by any more food until all of this is gone!

i worked with each of my bills and have set up automatic payments for most all of my bills now = less time focusing on paying off debt and more time focusing on life.
