This is on hold while I rewrite Trevor’s Song. Which was good before the rewrite and is now incredible. I can’t wait to start shopping it again.

A few rejections came in this week. Three more queries are headed out tomorrow, along with two last night.

And no word from the dude who’s got the whole thing. Not that I expected it, not by a longshot.

Maybe we ARE making progress; sometimes, it’s hard to tell.

Still no response on the first three.

The manuscript of Trevor’s Song arrived in New York today, to be read. Now, we wait and see.

Got a request for the full today. I’d sent the first chaper, like usual, with the query, so I KNOW he knows what the first word is…

Evil Editor was tearing apart queries on his website, so Antheras convinced me to rewrite mine, which she submitted to him for feedback.

I’m about to be disemboweled on the Net. Or maybe solicited for a partial.

Time will tell…

Well, it was a bug e-mail, but it was the text of the bug letter nonetheless.

Do I expect a response? Hell no. Their loss.

Three more out in the world. Why don’t most agents bother to respond even when you include a SASE? Makes no sense that I can see. Don’t have the time? Take on another intern!

I have three query letters ready to go out tomorrow. Just so you don’t think I’m sitting around, waiting for it to happen.
