I sent out four books today. At least one was a wishlist fulfillment.

I’m sending two RABCKS out tomorrow, maybe Friday. I think maybe in a karmic sense it’ll make up for the two that showed up here this week…

However, my RABCK list is still long. Overwhelmingly long. But at least I know they’ll be going to good homes that want them.

When my friend Marlene said she wanted to read this, I didn’t hesitate to tell her I’d read it and send it to her. Took me a few weeks longer than I’d have liked to read it, but it’s done. It was terrific and I know she’ll love it.

I just handed FIVE of my AVLs off to a friend. Not only does that get books moving through the world (she promised to share them when she’s done), but hopefully we’ll get some journal entries along the way. I gave her some BookCrossing bookmarks; she got the idea immediately.

In the past week or so, I’ve gotten two anonymous finder entries from books I’ve released months ago through Paperbackswap.com. They aren’t becoming members, but it’s cool to see the entries. So even if the books aren’t immediately going off through BXing, I AM hearing from them again, which is welcome, especially when you look over how many have disappeared into the ether…

Finished two books tonight and one’s already packed up and ready to go out, accepted off the relays today. The other needs to have a few goodies thrown in with it and then it, too, shall be off.

Seeing this reminded me that I’d like to RABCK more, so I looked up someone on Cliff’s, found her on RABCK.com, and the book is going to head out tomorrow. Best of all, she’s sort of local.
