Signed a contract in a weird language I haven’t a clue about! Well that’s the only new thing I can think of:-)
Actually that was a rental agreement for my future apartment in Belgium, which was all in Dutch! (I got a native colleague to read it for me though, just in case:-) )
And maybe by the time the rental period is over, I’ll be able to read it by myself;-)
Booked a sun holiday just because:-)
Well because I’m seriously sun-deprived in this country and I’m gonna end up as grey as the sky if I don’t see some sunshine soon!
This is a new thing to do because normally my boyfriend organizes our holidays (I’m a bit lousy at logistics!), except when I fly home to see my family or friends.
Well it’s only half organized so far… I’ve booked the flights but not the hotel yet… and I haven’t really looked at things to do besides going to the beach! But I’m fully confident I’ll avoid a full-blown organizational disaster:-D
Went to a black tie wedding in a castle. Wore a very snazzy gold dress and nice jewellery. It was great, and a nice change from my jeans-T-shirt-and-converse uniform! Wouldn’t do it every day though, too much effort!
Back into the jeans now :-)
Went karting with my colleagues: it was good fun, and a big adrenaline rush trying to negociate curves in steep downwards slope (especially since I can’t drive!). Only downside: big bruise on my back afterwards!
+ died my curtains (much less exciting, but it’s the 1st time I’m doing this, so it counts as something new:-p).
Nothing, nothing, nothing:-(
Well I went to my company’s new headquarters in Belgium, but that hardly counts…
I’ll just have to do 2 new things in November instead!
Started learning the drums!!!
Meant to do that for years and years, so it’s quite a good new thing! + it’s great, I really like it!
Went to the US. I think that counts as a pretty good “something new” since I had never been out of Europe before:-)
