TEFL Certified!

Woohoo! After completing an intensive 20-hour weekend course with i-to-i, I am now a Certified TEFL Teacher! I still have the remainder of my online course (which furthers my in-class certification and adds specialist certificates to my portfolio) though I’ve completed a primary portion of the process.

I’ll keep on plugging… about 80 more hours to go!

Just beginning...

I had signed up and paid for my 120 hr. TEFL (Teaching English As a Foreign Language) Certification course through i-to-i Learning back in January and really haven’t utilized my free time in order to efficiently complete the coursework. I have nearly completed module 1 of 10 for the main course and have completed module 1 of 4 for the Grammar Specialist Certificate. I have yet to obtain access to my remaining 8 Specialist Certificates (which will become available at the completion of the main course.) I believe they are only 1-2 modules in length per cert. though I am unsure. I can only hope they aren’t as tedious! I also have an intensive 20 hr. weekend class in Washington, DC. that I will attend in mid-March.

So much to do! Luckily, I have 6 months from the time of payment to complete the coursework. (This is where I really need to incorporate time management!)
