I have a hard time talking about this one.

I lost a good paying job when the telecom industry crashed 8 years ago. I had worked my way up for 20 years. The problem with becoming a niche expert is that the skills are not transferable.

And who will hire a former director as an admin? Even a customer service rep? I tried selling cars, and kirbys. I cleaned houses with my sister (she has a cleaning business.) I finally landed a retail job so we can at least eat – and set out to make a living on the internet – helping people manage their life chaos. Wish me luck!
