come out

Isn’t it surprising how fast rumours spread? The fact that this rumour was true didn’t matter, and I’m now able to have a normal conversation with my friends about my girlfriend (We’ve been together 11 days! :) )
The only thing I need to do now is come right out, and slam the closet doors behind me. Not far to go – It’s taken 2 days for the whole of year 8 to find out. :)
As Dr Seuss once said – “Those that matter don’t care, and those that care don’t matter.”

I’m halfway there. I’ve told my girlfriend (obviously :) ) and some of my best friends know, but my mum doesn’t know. I’m tired of always having to hide something that’s as much a part of me as my thumb. I can’t change it, and I wouldn’t want to if I could.
I just don’t like hiding.
