Get the most out of Residency before I finish

only 5 months to go.

On the list, I’ve used Remifentanil for procedural sedation. A couple of other things have been accomplished – a using “ketofol” for sedations, as well as procainamide for chemical cardioversion.

Have plenty more to do. I’m pretty annoyed I didn’t get a thoracotomy while I was on trauma.

So, I want to get the most out of residency before I’m out in practise on my own. That means that I really would like to have a shot at:

1. performing a cricothyroidotomy
2. performing a lateral canthotomy
3. performing an emergent thoracotomy
4. using precedex (dexmedetomidine)
5. using remifentanil as a single agent procedural sedation agent
6. using fenaldopam during a hypertensive crisis
