develop my illustration portfolio

Drats! The continuing ed illustration studio class I signed up for to start tonight was cancelled due to lack of enrollment. I need to commit to a time to work on my own and set up a space to work in. Add it to the list…

So I’m signed up for a class starting next week that is Part 2 to the one I finished last November. It is one night a week through the community college – it basically will give me the space, time and a deadline to work against which is what I need most. My goal for this class is to have finished pencils and let’s say 1-2 finished illustrations from the scripted story I was working on last class. I already have 2/3rds of the pencils pretty far along.

That’ll give me a big piece of my first portfolio under my belt.
I’d like to aim for even more, but I need to be realistic with the other happenings in my life right now. This will be good. I need to see progress and forward movement right now above all else.
