I don’t know if I got too close to fumes from baby formula or diaper changing last night, but I dreamt that I was flying home from Seattle with a layover in Boston. It was such a vivid dream that woke up and was ready to add Washington and Massachusetts to my list today, but alas, about an hour later I realized I was dreaming. Damn—I was really looking forward to being more than halfway finished!

I’ve always wanted to have visited every state. No particular reason, just to say I’ve been there and done that. Technically, I’m nearly halfway towards my goal. I say “technically” because in some instances, my “visit” has been nothing more than a brief layover whilst waiting on a connecting flight (Arkansas and Missouri). Kentucky also fell into this category for a number of years because of the exact location of Cincinnati’s airport; however, last year I spent the night in a hotel in Covington.
I’ve even already knocked out one of the “difficult” states with a vacation in Hawaii when I was a kid. So, only Alaska left there. As for the others (Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Washington, and Wyoming), I’ll get there sooner or later.
