I love doing little things...

to show him that I love him…and making a conscious effort to do those things and to consider him makes this goal so much easier to achieve on a daily basis.

I left...

my hubby a card in his car this morning just to let him know that I was thinking about him and love him <3

Hubby...

isn’t having the best of days…and for him on a bad day he likes to just be by himself…so as much as I’d like to call and check on him or talk to him, just because I miss him during the day while I’m at work…I’m giving him that ‘alone time’ he wants as a part of respecting him.

I'm taking...

the afternoon off to spend with him. I can’t wait!!

Yesterday

While I was out of my office running some errands, I stopped by and picked up some coffee and took it to my hubby. I think little kindnesses are an important way to show love to someone.

I left...

a greeting card in his car this morning letting him know that I was thinking about him today.

I am trying to accomplish this...

by keeping my husband in my mind at all times. Making him a part of everything that I do even if only though considering any possible effect on him. So often in the past if I perceived that what I was doing ‘had nothing to do with him’ I didn’t always consider what his viewpoint might be…but now I’m trying to keep his thoughts, feelings and opinions in the forefront of all of my actions, even the ones that don’t directly involve him. I am also praying daily for God’s help and guidance to succeed with that effort. I’m bound to still misjudge something from time to time because no two people can think exactly alike…but if I’m trying to always look at his side of everything then I’m bound to improve how I act and react in regard to him.

Today is...

my sweet hubby’s birthday and while I enjoy pampering him everyday, I’m making it my day’s mission to show him all day long just how much I appreciate him though little things. I don’t want an hour to go by today that he isn’t reminded that I’m thinking about him, love him and am grateful that he’s a part of my life.

I'm making sure...

that at least once everyday that I tell my hubby that he is appreciated. It’s true that actions speak louder than words and that the things that I do for him and the way that I treat him are the most important…but let’s face it, we all like for someone to actually TELL us that we are appreciated. Just to stop and take the time to actually put that into words. It takes very little time to do that but sometimes that’s exactly what someone needs to hear…that they are not only loved but appreicated.

My sweetie...

isn’t having a very good day. So I’ll have to see if I can help lift his spirits tonight with a little pampering.
