go to Nepal

Its a great, well-made knife. Looks authentic and has official-looking paperwork to go along with the knife. The fit and finish are ecellent and the blade is very well made. If its not authintic, its still a great value for only $45.

Ok… right after posting this “Want To”, I placed a bid on a Ghurka Khukri knife on Ebay. Not quite the same as going to Nepal and buying the knife, but hey, look at the money I saved in plane fare! :) The owner says the knife is genuine, so we’ll see. I’ll post another entry when I receive the Khukri (assuming I win the bidding).

Always wanted to visit Nepal and go to a Ghurka village and buy a Khukri directly from the man who made it.
