Something old something new... 3 years ago

I took up an old way of exercising: I attended a rowing team – yay! Besides that I also started something new and completely different: I’m practising Hatha Yoga since a few weeks. And I love it.

Combined with one swimming or running session each week, I will be completely happy :)

July 25. I went to the gym again. Biked again for 30 minutes and did 20 or so sit-ups. Just to remind me: I want those 30-45 minutes of sports on Monday to become a lifelong routine!

July 20. Boyfriend and I had a long walk this evening. I think 45 minutes or so. The goal is to make this a Wednesday evening routine

July 18. I went to the gym again after months and months. Biked for 30 minutes and did a couple of sit-ups. Felt really well afterwards. I want those 30-45 minutes of sports on Monday to become a lifelong routine!



Progress 4 years ago

May 17.: The plan was to go running today, together with my boyfriend. But he had to work late, and i still felt my muscles from yesterday, so we skipped that. But ‘luckily’ my bike’s got a flat tyre, so i’ve been walking all day. I think all in all for over an hour streight.

May 18.: Worked all day, so didn’t move much. Walked to en from my office though (30 minutes in total), and climbed the stairs (10!).

Yay, i finally managed to get myself to the gym!

I biked for 15 minutes; ran for 15 minutes; did 45 crunches and climbed the stairmaster for 10 minutes.

Made an appointment with my neighbor to go exercising coming monday. I’m probably going to start running again.

Did not actually start exercising again. Did take the stairs though. A lot of ‘m (I live on the fifth floor so that’s 10 stairs to climb). Walked to the post office today in stead of biking. Well, it’s a start.
