I’ve been eating so healthy that the doughnut I ate today made me SICK!! I guess thats a….good sign? I was craving lettuce!! How weird!

I’m back to my starting weight. I gained 10 lbs but now I’m back and can start getting in shape again.

After rock climbing muscles were hurting, thats normal and nothing to worry about, but the muscle directly over my heart was hurting when I moved. My paranoia told me I had heart problems but thankfully my mom explained it was just muscle pain. She is a nurse after all and thank god for her skills have helped so much. Our puppy would have died if it wasn’t for her. Oh, also I thought I had gained weight but I think its just muscle gain for all the climbing and my arm muscles have finally stopped hurting so I’m going to rock climb again this thursday with Haley and Mel.



Rock Climbing 5 months ago

I’ve always wanted to try rock climbing but even more so when I heard that if you rock climb for an hour then you burn 1000 calories if you are 140 lbs. Since I weigh more than that, I knew that this would be a real calorie burner. Last week I looked up rock gyms in my town. The first was a rock gym that seemed more for children, the second was amazing. Just the picture of some men standing in front of the rock wall made my mouth drop. It dwarfed the kiddy one. I decided to try it out, I was also looking forward to the steam baths.
This morning I arrived at the rock gym at around 10:20. My dad was supposed to climb with me but he was too tired because he and my mom had a late night at the drive in movies. He waited with me until the intro class started at 11:30 but he was so excited there that I wasn’t surprised when he started climbing on the walls. He didn’t go too far since you had to be attached to a rope. When I took the class…. let us just say that I would have failed if it was graded. There were two others in my learning group. late 20s, male. Mike and Nick. I didn’t have a partner so I asked if I could climb with them. We climbed for about two hours, switching off but the workout all three of us obtained was incredible. I have never been so tired that lifting my arm to reach to the next rock wasn’t even possible with extreme will power. The more we climbed, the more we kept dropping off from plain being too tired. It was fun and excited. Afterwards, when they left, I rinsed off then sat in the sauna for 30 minutes, showered, then biked while reading until my dad came for me. I was starving and exhausted. I can’t wait to go back tomorrow!

I’m still doing really bad on the sleep part. I woke up at 6 am this morning and it’s now 12:51 an and I’m not tired at all! I have to get up at 5 am! Maybe I should just not sleep tonight. Actually thats a bad idea considering that I have to get up early for a job interview…well it isn’t an interview….The workers told me to go in early to the store since the store manager will be there and I should speak with him directly.

I woke up early this morning and played tennis with my best guy friend and walked around the park 5 times. I also ate really healthy today…except for the doughnut >.< oh and yesterday I made really healthy pad tai for my family :D

I have to lose 40 lbs to reach my goal weight of 140 lbs. I hope to accomplish this in 8 months. I’m going to start with a 5 day fast, which means I’ll only be drinking my favorite fruit drink. 100 percent fruit and veggies, nothing added. Also for that week, I’ll be walking everywhere I go. I’ll post in a week to say how well it went and if I lost any weight.



sleep 16 months ago

Apparently lack of sleep can make you fat. >.< When you have less sleep you become hungry. So thats not good because I sleep very little.
