I’m a struggling screenwriter. I finished my studies at the film academy in 2007 and have had work in the industry on and off, not always paid. In stead of changing projects every so often I’ve decided to stick to a rough plan for the entire year, interjected with some fine planning for the coming months.
Before March I want to have succeeded in doing the following:
- enter a few teleplay projects into a competition come March, together with a few befriended directors.
- finish writing a treatment for a screenplay and present it to a befriended actor who is perfect for the lead.
- write and enter into a competition any amount of poems that I may have finished in the meantime (I write poetry when I get stuck with a project).
For these goals I’ve set the overall timeframe, but knowing my schedule for the next three months, I still have to set up a more detailed plan to reach these goals.
