Make my living as a writer

As my first endeavor for more professional writing then fan fiction about Draco and Harry, I have started a relationship advice column for teens and young adults in blog form. Though it is still pretty unprofessional, it was an easy way to get a start since I feel I give advice to my friends every single day. Please check it out and consider sending in your own questions!

The Love Shack

My Fiction Writing class is AMAZING!!! I love my teacher and I feel like I am going to learn so much from it and get some really good writing out of it. I’m so excited and glad to be furthering this goal.

I am in my first TWO college level writing courses next semester. I am being forced into one – ENG 101 Academic Writing and Research – but the other is part of my major – ENG 288 Fiction Writing. Both shall be beneficial to my endeavor to become a published writer!

I recently decided to not double major in Spanish and only major in English with a concentration in creative writing in order to pursue this goal. I realized that I am only passionate about writing and if I can’t make it like that then I will just have to rent out movies to people for the rest of my life. I am also going to study abroad in Wales and do a creative writing internship through my school. Somehow, some way, I will make this work.
