Memories of Home

It’s been over 20 years since I was in my home town, Kalkaska, a small town in Michigan. I have the fondest childhood memories growing up. We lived in a house on a lake. This lake was the source of countless adventures in all seasons. Fishing, swimming, and rowing in the summer… and Skating, hockey, and ice fishing in the winter.
I remember in the fall, when the leaves would turn colors, the placid surface of the lake would mirror the trees that surrounded it, offering up a panoramic display of yellow, orange, red, and white.
