before returning to work. I should do so many things. I am sitting and resting at the moment. At least I did get dressed today :)

didn’t drain properly and I had a lovely wet mess to clean up. Thankfully, no permanent damage and it is draining well now, after a strange sucking sound went through the pipes and even through the kitchen sink. Weird.

Since I was a very small girl, I remember chewing, picking and biting on the sides of my fingers. It was a nervous habit. For the past week, because I knew I was about to meet N’s mother and sisters, I forced myself not to bite or pick. My hands look pretty good. Even today I went for the nail clippers instead of biting to get a stray bit of dry skin that was flaking off. I may have kicked this lifelong bad habit. Not going to make any big goal or whatever in case I slip back. I am pretty excited. Let’s see if I can keep this up once I go back to work next week.
I did notice that I always bit them or picked if I was somewhere that I would rather not be or if I had something else that I wanted to do but could not control my fate, etc. If I was not in control of my situation, I would bite.

N is asleep on the couch next to me right now. Think I will sneak over and start wrapping some of his presents now.

it didn’t accumulate at all. It was very pretty coming down and very big clumps. Just cold today.

we aren’t putting up a tree. But I intend to get us stockings and decorate them together. And then get little sweet things to put in the stocking of my one true love. No lumps of coal in this house!

at a Brazilian restaurant. It was lovely. Ate way too much.

and someone was honking their horn outside the house down the street really loudly and incessantly. Then they drove off with their lights off.

Very interesting yet annoying.
