As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
You will go out in joy
and be led forth in peace;
the mountains and hills
will burst into song before you,
and all the trees of the field
will clap their hands.
Instead of the thornbush will grow the juniper,
and instead of briers the myrtle will grow.
This will be for the LORD’s renown,
for an everlasting sign,
that will endure forever.
Isaiah 55:10-13
”...we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.”
Romans 5:3-5
And in the pulse there lies conviction.
-Maria Taylor (from Song Beneath the Song).
It is short, simple, and to the point and therefore can easily be overlooked. But really ponder this sentence and you will find that it has great meaning. I hope it speaks to you same as it did to me.
Even when you feel you are at your last breath, you must realize you’re not drowning. There is still oxygen. There is still life. You are still on land. Do not forget it, do not let yourself forget that there is hope.

I think the idea is that every person has to live for his or her own life and then make the choice to share it with other people.
