Hurricane Dean

Today Hurricane Dean is due to hit Xaymaca, where I was born. I wish I could fly in next week to help. My Dad thinks that I am crazy for wanting to fly into the aftermath of hurricane. I remember living through the direct hit of one in 1988. We stayed down for a whole day. We then had no power for one year. I read a lot (by lamplight) between age 12 and 13 because there was no TV. But we were alive. Looking back it was not so bad.
Hope today, Hurricane Dean misses Xaymaca and that if it doesn’t…it will have a bit of pity.
