I have to find someone else willing to teach me…and I have to get out of pain and strong enough to attempt it. My daughter will probably win the bet and get hers first..but I still want to learn how to do one…always have. I will not give up

at Emily’s cheerleading practice last night I was talking to some of her tumbling coaches and told them of our bet as to which one of us will get out back handspting first. One of the girls volunteered to help me! She is one of the bigger girls and looks plenty strong.. so I feel comfortable with it. Besides.. they have the cool trampoline tumbling run with the big foam think at the end. When I was young.. we were lucky to have a 1” mat if we werent trying to learn on the grass. This looks much better!
I told her she better hurry up and get her cartwheel and roundoff since I am ahead of her on that. She thinks it is cool that mommy is gonna tumble with her.
my 6 yr old daughter is now doing all star cheerleading. She doesnt even have her cartwheel yet, but will have tumbling instruction twice a week. I made a bet with her that she could get her backhandspring before I could. I have to get someone to spot me. Working on my arm strength and back flexibility for now.
