Stay off porn until Christmas

It’s been over a month now – OK 35 days to be precise. I’m really pleased. Holiday coming up. Yippee.

3 bad weeks at work. I still want to do this (i.e. stop) and will face up to my falling down and get back on the path.

OK, so today I didn’t walk away…

Ok, only a couple of days in and I was taken by surprise and getting set when I thought no, I’m walking away. And I did. I couldn’t do that before.

OK. I’ve tried this before. Once I managed it and then a couple of times not. I’ve been doing pretty well and avoided porn for six weeks now. So I’m going to try and commit to another six months.
This last week has been hard – my triggers are tired, stressed and fed-up – but each time I’ve felt the urge, I’ve been able to walk away. In the past, I felt I couldn’t – the urge was just overwhelming. It’s been a close thing but I am determined that pornography will not rule my life. I’m a lot less stressed about it than I used to be so here goes.
