got back to an old employee, earning about 25 percent more than the last time i worked for that company. The Job is less stressful than my last job, currently i’m very happy at this place.
But i still need a way to make more money, since my wife isn’t working anymore – she’s at home with my now 6 month old little son :-)
I guess i won’t get significant raises in the next years, so i have to think about a second (passive?) income …

The new job brought me more money but also more pain. And now i was fired because of the economic crisis. I’m trying to get back to my old employee
yesterday i signed the contract – i will start in January 2009!
Now i must give notice to my current employer – i guess i’ll do that on monday next week.
in the next days i’m going to sign a contract for a job where i will earn almost 40% more than now!
Though I’ll need more than an hour to get to my new workplace, i’m very excited. This new job sounds very, very interesting and the salary is very good.
I almost completed this goal!
did some applications for employment and was invited for a few job interviews.
Until now i could start at a new employer, where i would earn about 30% more than now.
Have some more interviews in the next days, so i wait with a decision …
ok, at the moment i need to two things:
1) work on my career in my day job
I definitely need to make trainings/ certifications to get more into (project-) management.
So i need someone who can tell me which kind of certification fits for me.
2) start thinking about my own business
I have no idea at the moment, in what special business i should get envolved.
Currently i’m working on software-development projects from home. I got a good hourly rate but it’s very time-consuming. I want to earn more and do less :-)
After reading, thinking and talking about this goal, it shows up, that i should setup some rules for myself:
1) Visualize the outcome of my goal without beeing attached to the concrete way of achieving it
2) do every day at least on thing that brings me closer to my aim
3) think big: i have achieved a lot, i can achieve a lot more.
4) i have to do something creative which helps other people or companies
As a software-developer my income ain’t that small – but we have to do a lot repairs on the house and my wife plans to retire from work – maybe we’ll have some kids someday.
So i’m going to make extra money with some projects i do as a side-job. However, those projects cost a lot of time and i’d rather like to spend this time with my wife or just have some time on my own.
So i have to increase my income from my day-job – either by getting promoted or by looking for a new job.
