Hi all. I am up to my 44th day nicotine free. I found a couple of forums that really helped me. And also a quit meter. It measures how long you’ve quit for, how many cigs you haven’t smoked and how much money you’ve saved. It can be found at http://www.dedicateddesigns.com/qk/index.htm. It’s completely free and easy to use.
If anyone wants addresses to support forums I use just let me know.
I have been quit for 1 Month, 1 Week, 5 Days, 13 hours and 54 minutes (43 days). I have saved $189.31 by not smoking 740 cigarettes. I have saved 2 Days, 13 hours and 40 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 25/12/2007 11:30 p.m.

For the first time in 16 years I have no nicotine in my body. I have tried quitting a few times, but always used patches and never quit long enough to come off the patches as well. This time around I starting quiting on 12/12/07. Still used patches until the 22/12/07. Then stupidly had a smoke Christmas night which made me feel really sick, so when I woke on Boxing day I decided rather than try and get my body used to poisoning itself again I would start the quit again. I have not smoked or used any nicotine replacement therapy since 25/12/07 11:30pm
and I hope I will never have to go through those early weeks of quitting again.
