“Humans, when faced with great happiness, will become very much afraid. Taking hold of happiness takes more courage than perserverance of suffering.”—Ryuugasaki Momoko
I saw that line in Shimotsuma Monogatari (Shimotsuma Fairytale) and realized how true it is. Especially for somebody like me, who seems to be afraid of everything. (That’s an exaggeration, but sometimes I feel like I’m a real chicken.) That’s why I want to worry less about whether or not I’ll fail, or if the happiness I find will only last for a short time, and just be happy.
