Called the director of my old philanthropy yesterday, and spent the evening working with him. It’s good to have such an accessible mentor. I feel blessed.

The fam is coming to town, and it’s a great time for brainstorming with some seriously smart folks.

Went back today for some group lessons on Grant database research another on proposal management/submission procedures and protocol. It was interesting, and informative. They were diverse classes with lawyers, professionals and students all together.

Went for a visit today, and things went fantastic.
I actually communicated the full concept, and it didn’t come out too disjointed and choppy.
It’s a whole lotta info to get out in a few minutes and I think the idea is fully on the table now.

Some people have suggested that I make my own business a non-profit. That’s a really tough decision. I really need to find great legal counsel willing to work pro-bono for this first year or two. HEh-heh, that’s harder than finding a needle in a haystack. It will probably have to wait, for now.
