list the good things about every day

A nice weekend in the mountains.

No power, no water. Quiet.

The woodstove worked!

The salmon are swimming up stream en masses, amazing sight though it makes me sad.

Got alot of work done to get the kitchen from icky dusty cobwebby to just rustic kitchen.

Remembered the to-get, to-do list before coming home so have direction of what to bring next time.

Started a new book. Well two actually.

Nice time at the Nabob for the campaign.

Putting my feet up.

I did eight hours of research and writing for the campaign.

Coffee.

The internet.

My daughter dropped by for a visit and brought lunch.

My son stopped buy for a little bit (til he got a better offer :-)

Ichiro had a beautiful homerun after Sweeney got a double in the bottom of the ninth.

Pilsners and great humus plate at the Nabob.

Pretty day.

Bought a nice shirt during lunch.

It is the weekend!!!

My candidate for Seattle City Attorney has just won the endorsement of one of, if not the last, precincts. Go Holmes!

WEDNESDAY

Wore a beautiful suit and looked gorgeous in it.

Went to a political fundraiser and spoke with diverse and interesting people.

Red wine.

Daughter came over (probably cause her internet is out but hey…)

THURSDAY

The Mountain was out today and looked lovely.

Was off phones at work for 5 hours.

Got all my bills paid, papers filed, shredded as needed.

It is Friday tomorrow.

Only had one screamer swearing at me at work today. (God, how many more days of this contract, six months and one day?)

Had dinner with my parents and had a pleasant time.

A beautiful sunny day.

I am not at work anymore and can decompress.

Made another sale today.

Saturday

The Huskies won!

Went to a cabin towards Mt. Ranier that I like to go to.

Since no cooking possible yet there, I made a yummy platter of smoked salmon, crackers, chopped onions, cream cheese and capers, followed by the most wonderful watermelon and accompanied by a good champagne.

Looked at the thousands of starts and saw shooting stars too!

Went dancing at the local tavern and had a total blast!!!

Sunday
Woke up early and went to see the sunrise at Sunrise.

Had a good nap after that :-)

Got work done on the cabin and am looking forward to getting more done and ready for winter use.

Seahawks won their season opener!

Dinner overlooking the Sound and gorgeous sunset.

Dinner with friends, old and new.

The mountain was out when I drove to work and was beautiful.

I am not at work anymore.

More people tried my product for the first time today and liked it very much :-)

My son got a job after looking for a long time.

Learned about a different website for hosting and that I can do things myself on.

Got my boxes emptied and the room looks nice with the knickknacks out.

Had coffee and got alot done on the business plan! Woohoo!

Met a person who had IMd me and we have been emailing, I said if he was in the area and wanted coffee to come by and he did. (NOT a date.) Discussed computer stuff and his home country.

Made a new girlfriend in the house where I moved to and we went out for Mexican food and chatted and chatted for 6 hours! A fun evening!
