Went to hear a band that a couple guys from work are in. You know how it is with that sort of thing, never sure what you are going to end up with. Well, this blues band, CrossRoads was phenomenal! Listened for a while then danced maybe a dozen songs with a guy who was a good dancer too! Fun time. Excellent music. Found out this morning that they have been awarded Best Blues band in Washington several times and I even bought a CD.
Zaleya has written 4 entries about this goal
Snow Patrol’s “Run” and Midnight Oil’s “Beds are Burning” for a dancing break from inventorying and writing.
This is a fun goal, I started my first day dancing to “Holding out for a Hero” by Bonnie Tyler
“Where have all the good men gone
And where are all the gods?
Where’s the street-wise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?
Isn’t there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and turn and dream of what I need
I need a hero…”
and a slower paced Aerosmith song “What it Takes” from their Pump album.
Cooking dinner, will go get the ipod and dance to a couple songs while things are baking/simmering/sauteeing.
What will the first song be…?
