i’ve had lots of fun recently, but i think the most fun of all has been going to the botanical gardens with alb’s excellent nephew T (age 8). he was amazingly interested in the flowers, fish and ducklings, took loads of photos, showed us around “the alps” and “japan”, pointed out the Edelweiss, and was just totally ace.

also, he can use the word “ironic”. at age 8. he’s a hero.
